Vessel Used for Tasting: Plastic Mug

Aroma/Olfactory: Rather weak nose, smells like raw dough, yeasty.

Visuals/Appearance: Clear, vibrant straw color with dispersive white head.

Taste/Flavor: A wonderful balance of hops and malts. The yeast has a very distinctive flavor. Hints of dough and butter.

Palate/Tactile: Light bodied and smooth.

Tasting Backstory: Had it as Wahoo’s Fish Tacos with a great mexican plate. It paired very nicely. Great food, beer and service made for a great meal.

Rating: 7.5/10 If I were offered this or Lightning’s Kolsch style ale I would not be able to decide.

Value Rating: 8/10 It’s a damn good price for a quality draft craft beer. I regurlarly see 22oz bottles of this for $3.39. It’s well on the lower end of craft beer prices.
